Catering Event Coordinator

Milo's Catering is seeking a full-time catering event coordinator for our bustling wedding and special event department. In business since 1998, Milo's Catering is one of Columbus' most experienced and respected caterers. We service high-end event spaces throughout the greater Columbus area in addition to four of our own exclusive venues in the downtown area.

Qualified applicants should be detail oriented and possess strong organization and customer service skills. Experience in catering or event coordination is a plus, but we will train the right candidate. Hospitality and/or customer service experience is a must.

A flexible schedule and weekend availability is required as most events take place during the evening or on the weekend. In addition to working events, coordinator will have dedicated office hours for prep, planning, and client meetings. General schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, with office days 9am-5pm, and event day hours dictated by the details of the event. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation is required for this role.

Responsibilities include:

-Attending initial and final client planning meetings

-Creating floor plans, timelines, vendor lists, and decor lists

-Creating operations equipment pull sheet

-Organize event notes, including staffing breakdown and assignments

-Onsite execution of assigned events from start to finish

-Direct management of all front of house staff per event
