Do you thrive behind the scenes and on the front lines, making sure every detail comes together and every event runs smoothly? We’re looking for a hands-on Event Coordinator to help bring Sushi Confidential events to life across the Bay Area, with most events taking place right here in the South Bay.

This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk kind of role. You’ll be involved from planning and preparation through event execution and breakdown—helping coordinate the details, pack and deliver supplies, set up the event, support the team onsite, and make sure everything runs smoothly through the finish. From corporate events and private parties to nightlife and nightclub promotions, you’ll play a key role in creating experiences our clients and guests won’t forget.

You’ll work closely with our Catering team to coordinate logistics, manage vendors, communicate with clients, and bring event plans to life. You’ll also have the opportunity to support both daytime catering events and evening service at our venue, making every day a little different.

What You'll Do

Assist in planning, organizing, and executing catering events, including corporate functions, private parties, and nightclub promotions.
Coordinate the packing, transport, and delivery of catering equipment, food, and supplies to and from event sites throughout the Bay Area, primarily the South Bay.
Source materials, decor, equipment, and supplies for events while maintaining an organized inventory and positive vendor relationships.
Serve as a point of contact for clients during planning and execution, providing updates and gathering event requirements.
Support both daytime catering events and evening venue operations, helping with setup, staffing, and transitions between service styles.
Capture approved event content for marketing and social media use.

What We're Looking For

Prior experience in event planning, hospitality, or catering.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable personal transportation; will drive both a company vehicle and a personal vehicle for event-related travel.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Excellent communication, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to provide a high level of customer service to clients and guests.
Experience with event management or catering software (such as Eventbrite or Caterease) is a plus but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay flexible as schedules and event needs change.

The Details

Full time, typically 32-40 hours per week depending on the volume of catering events.
Compensation range of $26-$30 per hour.

Primary Work Location:

This is a field-based, off-site role. You will travel to catering events and venues throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Reliable personal transportation is required. This role will involve driving both a company vehicle and a personal vehicle for event-related travel.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
