Catering & Event Sales Manager

Apply As an Catering & Event Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing our hotel’s event offerings to life, ensuring our clients have a memorable experience while maximizing revenue. Your responsibilities will include: • Solicitation of new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone/e-mail, solicitation, outside sales calls, virtual/site inspections and written communication • Responsible for booking Catering Only Business and Detailing all Banquet and Catering Events and execution • Book new catering business also the ability to detail the events • Achieve catering booking goals • Work with the operation team to execute group, meeting, and event business • Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize revenue. Meet sales goals through the development of new customers as well as nurturing existing client relationships • Quote rates and availability to customers from catering leads alongside revenue management for optimal pricing • Upsell to current groups and events • Communicate effectively with all hotel departments but also work independently • Set-up and execution of events as needed • Work with client directly to form Banquet Event Orders allowing the group to accomplish their goals • Assist with other areas as assigned by the General Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing, Director of Group Sales, and VP of Sales and Marketing • Work with outside catering companies and local vendors to execute successful events • Log all sales related activity in the sales software system • Utilize onsite reservation system- Lightspeed experience preferred to manage group reservations • Some weekend office coverage as needed As Part Of Our Team, You’ll Enjoy • Competitive salary plus quarterly and annual bonus • A dynamic work environment in a newly refreshed space • Opportunities for career growth and development within StepStone Hospitality, Inc. • A chance to engage with guests from around the world in one of Atlanta's most sought-after locations • Free Parking • Free Breakfast • Hotel Discounts
