Whether an intimate gathering or a lavish celebration, we tailor each experience to reflect the unique tastes and desires of our discerning clients.What You’ll Do: Catering Sales & Event ManagementManage the full event lifecycle—from initial inquiry and proposal through planning, on‑site oversight, and final billing.Earn commission commensurate with experience and performance.Menu Development & Culinary CollaborationWork closely with our chefs to understand our cuisine and curate menus tailored to each client.Stay informed on current food and beverage trends.Relationship Building & Business DevelopmentCultivate and maintain strong relationships with venues, planners, vendors, and industry partners.Leverage your network to generate new business opportunities.Schedule & Work EnvironmentFull‑time, off‑premise is based in our commissary and on‑premise at our venues.Weekend availability required; Saturdays are typically the busiest day.Successful salespeople work a minimum of 50 hours per week; during peak season, 60–70 hours is common.Workload is tied to the event calendar.Compensation & BenefitsBase salary of $65,000, plus commission.Benefits may include:401(k) with employer matchHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offWhat We’re Looking For: ExperienceMinimum 3 years of catering sales experience, with demonstrated success in both wedding and corporate/non‑profit markets.Education & CertificationsBachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred, but not required.Serve Safe and RAMP certifications preferred.Leadership & Client ServiceStrong leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset.A passion for personalized client relations and exceptional guest experiences.Financial & Operational AcumenProficiency in event financials, including food & beverage, rentals, staffing, décor, and related reporting.Communication & Problem‑SolvingClear, concise verbal and written communication skills very important.Ability to anticipate challenges, adapt quickly, and make informed decisions.Organization & Time ManagementExceptional attention to detail.Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.Technical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.Ability to learn new software platforms.Hospitality MindsetPositive, upbeat attitude and genuine enthusiasm for food and events.Commitment to food safety standards.Additional RequirementsValid driver’s license and personal vehicle for travel to/from events.#J-18808-Ljbffr
