The Communications & Events Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic communications and marketing plans to support the mission, vision, and goals of the Spokane Home Builders Association. • Provide staff support to the Fall Festival of Homes and Event committees and develop volunteers to assist in event production. Staff Oversight • Responsible for managing the activities and performance of the Marketing & Events Coordinator. Experience may be substituted depending on qualifications • A great portfolio that demonstrates your strong writing and storytelling skills • Familiarity with email marketing tools such as Constant Contact, Klaviyo or Mailchimp • Ability to publish website content using content management systems like WordPress • Demonstrated experience planning, developing, posting and monitoring content on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other social media channels • Experience with native and third-party social media management and reporting tools (Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.) General • Ability to think creatively and apply an innovative approach to informational and promotional content • A demonstrated commitment to excellence, attention to detail and laser focus on meeting deadlines • Ability to quickly and capably manage multiple projects at once • Strong interpersonal skills to build trusted and respectful relationships with our members, local association peers, co-workers and others
