Events Manager
You are not a checkbox person. You are the person who checked the boxes before anyone knew there were boxes to check.
caa is looking for an Events Manager who is equal parts logistician, relationship-builder, and road warrior. We host 18 leadership summits a year across the Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest, full-day, high-energy, executive-level events, and we need someone who runs them like a pro without needing their hand held.
This is not a conference room job. It is a show-up-and-own-it job. If you love the energy of a live event, thrive when things move fast, and genuinely enjoy making things look effortless, even when they are not, keep reading.
Travel is required to all 18 events. Events are either half-day or full-day. Setup takes place the day before; breakdown is completed the same day as the event. All travel expenses and food and beverage for approved travel are fully covered by caa.
Heads up on the schedule: Events run in bursts, sometimes 6 weeks back-to-back, sometimes a quiet stretch of 2 to 3 months. The right person finds that energizing, not unsettling.
