The mission of the Office of Youth Ministry is to equip leaders with the necessary tools, training, formation, and events in order that all young people hear the Gospel message and be empowered to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our parishes and in our world. The Coordinator of Events plays a key ministerial and administrative role overseeing the planning, execution, and reconciliation of major youth ministry events. The Coordinator of Events coordinates the logistical and administrative operations for Office of Youth Ministry events—including Steubenville STL Mid-America, Summit, trainings, and other initiatives—serving events that range from 25 to 5,000 participants. Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include theology, youth ministry, education, event planning or management • Minimum of five years of youth ministry experience • Previous experience coordinating large-scale events or complex projects • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general PC skills • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or comparable accounting software • Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based ministry environment Any offer would be contingent upon successful completion of any required screening.
