ImagineX creates and manages events that inspire people around the world.

Our client, a global tech company, is seeking a Corporate Event Manager with excellent hospitality skills to support event production with a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist in the set-up and breakdown of conference suppliesUtilize scanning systems and equipment to scan badgesUtilize a reservation system and equipment to verify guest reservations and distribute correct badges for entrance into the venueProvide excellent customer service and troubleshoot guest issues Contribute to a positive overall guest experienceManage the speaker and stage experienceAttend staff meetings and execute tasks under the direction of Managers and Leaders

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work ethicDemonstrated ability to handle stressful situations with diplomacy and tactComfortable using smart electronic devices (tablet, smartphone)Comfortable working with and being in large crowds of peopleAble to work efficiently in an organized and detailed fashionAbility to adhere to company policies, protocols and procedures and maintain dedication to the company missionAn understanding of and ability to articulate your own personal limits to your supervisorA great sense of humor!

Physical Requirements

Able to lift/carry 50lbsAble to experience periods of extended standing.Able to walk and climb considerable distances, including inclines/declinesAble to stoop, crouch and kneel while placing signage throughout the venueThe ability to listen and speak clearly is required

Availability and Commitment

A full-team training will be provided prior to the eventDay 1: October 8 from 1pm - 10pm with training hours priorSchedule to be confirmed

Compensation

$35/hr, paid as an Independent ContractorBreakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included
