Director Event Services

Job Summary: The Director, Event Services leads the planning, coordination and execution of T-Mobile Center events to ensure they are safe, organized and successfully delivered. Develop, monitor, and manage the Event Services departmental operating budget.Track departmental expenditures and identify opportunities for cost control and operational efficiencies.Review event estimates, settlements, invoices, and event-related expenses to ensure financial accuracy and contractual compliance.Partner with Finance and Operations leadership to support forecasting, annual budget planning, and financial reporting.Monitor event profitability and assist with revenue and expense analysis related to venue operations.Ensure department resources are allocated effectively while maintaining high levels of service and operational readiness. Previous experience supervising, leading, mentoring, or managing event planning personnel.Must be resourceful, a quick learner, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Previous management experience within an arena, stadium, convention center, theater, performing arts venue, or large public assembly facility.Experience managing event management professionals and developing high-performing teams.Experience with budget forecasting, financial analysis, and departmental planning.AutoCAD experience preferred.
