Director of Event Operations

• Our Venice Beach House (VB) was once the creative home to some of the most influential creative luminaries in art and entertainment including Hal Ashby, Oliver Stone, and David Hockney, NeueHouse Venice Beach is a new work, social, and cultural hub for the Venice creative community. The Director plays a critical role in the seamless execution of private events, membership events, and programming events, maintaining high standards of quality, service, and efficiency. • Ensure that production teams, service staff and support staff are properly trained, managed, and held accountable for their roles in event execution. • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings to clients and staff, ensuring effective communication and alignment with service standards. • Liase with clients on all pre-production support and event needs • Collect and submit COIs and event notices to building • Manage event captain schedule • Manage Events Coordinator and Events Captain to ensure all pre-production and day of needs are executed seamlessly • Communicate event details/changes with all internal departments (F&B, Facilities, Operations) • Work in collaboration with the Executive Chef, design team, and marketing team to develop custom offerings when required • Analyze event successes, always working to better our offering at NeueHouse • Support Events Director with initial leads, client walkthroughs as needed • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
