The Director of Event Productions is responsible to execute events for Southern Seminary and Boyce College. and developing programs to achieve clients' goals • Supports clients in the development of and adherence to event budgets • Understands and assigns event space to achieve effective use of resources • Negotiates with off-campus vendors to secure hotel rooms and for rental items such as staging and other equipment • Inspects facilities to ensure they conform to client expectations • Reviews invoices and requests from vendors • Creates BEO's • Maintains detailed records of each assigned event • Conducts post-event interviews and reports on ways to improve client service • Ensure the production and technology of all events is creative, well-executed and well managed • Ensure that all audio/visual equipment is being maintained, replaced as needed and functioning to meet the overall goals of the institution Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor. The person in this position will supervise all Event Productions staff and the Manager of Event Technology. The person in this position will work in an office and indoor event venues as well as outdoor venues.
