Overview This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Director of Event Promotions. About the Position This role requires excellent communication skills, a creative approach to marketing, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement effective event promotion strategies to drive ticket sales and revenue growth • Manage sales teams to achieve sales targets and exceed revenue expectations • Buid strong relationships with clients, promoters, agents, and other industry professionals • Create and supervise marketing plans for ticketed events, including group sales, public relations, media placement, direct mail, promotional development, and non-profit opportunities • Direct the public relations image of the facility, establishing and maintaining relationships with media, industry influencers, and key community and strategic partners • Manage premium services department and contract renewals, ticketing questions, and provide superior customer service • Recognize opportunities to receive publicity from building operations, activities, awards/honors, etc., and share with local, regional, or national media • Act as a creative director with internal staff and outside advertising agencies to develop marketing collateral as needed
