Equipment and Event Coordinator

Spring (March – May) Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm • This position is contingent on continued grant funding* Summary The Equipment and Event Coordinator is responsible for all maintenance and repair of athletic, wellness, and physical education equipment. Distinguishing Career Features This position will operate laundry equipment to launder athletic uniforms and towels, issue physical education, wellness, and athletic equipment and apparel; maintain routine inventory records; clean assigned facilities and areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Equipment and Event Coordinator specializes in one area encompassing a portion of these duties, however, is fully capable of performing all the following: • Operate laundry equipment to maintain athletic uniforms and towels in clean and sanitary condition; assure proper temperature of water and quantity of detergent and bleach are used in laundering process. Ability to maintain a complete inventory of athletic equipment. Must be able to learn and apply College policies and procedures within a reasonable period.
