Event and Communication Coordinator

The successful candidate will bring experience in event logistics, budget management, and sponsor engagement, with a strong appreciation for supporting local businesses and promoting cultural and business exchange. Planning and coordinating events in collaboration with our members and stakeholders. You are required to manage all logistical aspects of events, maintaining open communication with FACC members, partners, and sponsors while building strong partnerships with vendors and suppliers to support the organization's initiativeManaging a dynamic collaboration with sponsors to enhance their visibility and engagement during events. The position requires maintaining active relationships with members and vendors, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely payments, and coordinating services and materials essential for successful events.Documenting event plans and preparation of post-event reports to summarize outcomes for internal and external stakeholders, respecting non-profit requirements.In addition to event planning, you will be responsible for creating engaging marketing materials with the support of the communications team, collaborating with sponsors to ensure strong visibility at events, and capturing photos and videos for social media. a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in events management or a related field is preferred.Degree in Marketing, Communication, Event Management, Non-Profit ManagementStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.Proficient in customer service with a focus on client satisfaction.Ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships effectively.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.English and French language fluency requiredFlexibility to work evenings and week end if needed (during events)Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United StatesJoin us in creating unforgettable events that leave a lasting impression!
