Event and Experience Coordinator

At Varsity Spirit, the safety and wellbeing of the young people we serve is of the utmost importance. What you will do: Year Round • Monitor regional event participation • Assist with our Registration Specialist and Marketing Specialist with any event related communications and marketing needs • Assist with the marketing calendar for events and strategic promotions to support growth within the region • Work closely with Brand Manager and VP of Competition Operations • Responsible for the Events Listing and anything events related on the website. • Assist in requesting Certificates of Insurance • Oversee Compliance for Judges • Manage BAND Communication for Staff and Judges • Partner with regional team to track all registration (Confirm bid acceptance, Rosters needs, waiver forms) • Run and manage events on site from flow of venue to crowds and request final payments and overrides for facilities/schools • Record all expenses into event actuals • Partner with regional team to book all staff and judges travel • Flights (booked through Concur) • Rental Cars (booked through Concur) • Monitoring event spending/expenses • Partner with regional team for staffing needs as needed i.e. contract labor with a university etc. It takes a team to make a real impact, and through our two divisions – BSN SPORTS and Varsity Spirit – and our network of 6,000+ employees and independent representatives, we are proud to partner with a wide range of educational institutions and club and professional sports to transform the student journey in SPORT and SPIRIT.
