About the position The Events Assistant position at Envision the Moment Event Services, LLC is a contracted, entry-level role focused on supporting wedding and event planning. The assistant will work closely with the Lead Wedding Planner to help execute various events, ensuring that each client's vision is realized. This role offers hands-on experience in the wedding industry, with opportunities for future advancement to a Lead Planner or Coordinator position. Responsibilities • Assisting with and overseeing the correct set-up of the ceremony and reception site(s) , • Assisting VIPs throughout the course of the event , • Being available to wedding guests to answer their questions and assist them as needed , • Directing guests to appropriate areas as needed throughout the evening , • Assisting vendors with their set-up by being close at hand to answer questions regarding product placement , • Being a resource to the Bride & Groom with regards to what's happening next in the schedule , • Overseeing and assisting with set up and tear down of wedding decor items , • Maintaining the schedule and coordinating the timeline for all special events throughout the reception , • Trouble-shooting any issues that arise during the event , • Performing any other tasks designated by the Lead Planner
