Overview As a vital part of our organization, you will leverage your hospitality expertise, organizational skills, and passion for events to ensure each occasion runs smoothly and exceeds expectations. Your energetic leadership will inspire your team and foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners. Coordinate all facets of event planning and management, including venue setup, catering, entertainment, and guest services Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the venue for various events such as weddings, corporate functions, fundraisers, and community gatherings Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, caterers, and suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining high-quality standards Oversee budgeting processes to ensure profitability and cost control without compromising service quality Upsell additional services such as premium packages, décor enhancements, or special amenities to maximize revenue opportunities Manage event marketing efforts through social media, advertising campaigns, and direct outreach to attract diverse clientele Supervise staff members including event coordinators, catering teams, security personnel, and support staff to ensure seamless event execution Maintain excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and resolving issues efficiently during events Implement effective time management practices to handle multiple events simultaneously while adhering to schedules and deadlines Ensure compliance with safety regulations, licensing requirements, and health standards across all operations Proven experience in events management within hospitality settings such as banquet halls, hotels, restaurants or similar venues Strong background in negotiation, contracts management, and upselling techniques Demonstrated success in marketing event spaces through various channels including digital marketing and community outreach Familiarity with event planning processes from initial concept through execution and post-event follow-up Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors, and team members Organizational skills that enable efficient handling of multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines Previous banquet experience or catering background is highly desirable Knowledge of budgeting principles and financial management related to event operations Experience in guest services or hospitality roles that emphasize customer satisfaction and hospitality excellence
