Role Purpose:
This pivotal position involves planning and executing our conference participation, tracking and researching up to 100 events annually, facilitating speaking engagements nationwide, and managing logistics for swag and exhibit booths to ensure seamless operation of conferences and company events.
Key Responsibilities:
Conference Planning & Logistics: Coordinate the company’s participation in various conferences and events, managing timelines, registration deadlines, and shipping logistics.
Program Tracking & Organization: Maintain tracking tools, budgets, and documentation to ensure accessibility across teams, while monitoring event metrics.
Cross-Team Coordination: Act as a liaison among Marketing, Operations, and leadership, ensuring smooth communication regarding speaker submissions and event expectations.
Research & Opportunity Support: Identify high-value conferences and maintain awareness of industry trends to align opportunities with our strategic growth.
Additional Support: Assist the Marketing & Communications teams with various initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Knowledge in emergency management, public health, and event planning processes.
Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
Excellent communication abilities and a knack for analytical reasoning.
Experience in tracking tools and budget management related to events.
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years in event coordination or related fields.
