Our client, a top financial services firm in New York, NY, is seeking an Event Coordinator to join their team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating firm-wide events. Responsibilities: • Plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale events, including conferences, corporate meetings, seminars, and client appreciation events • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and requirements • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial accountability • Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, setup, catering, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and accommodations • Develop and implement event timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met • Coordinate event marketing and communication efforts, including invitations, promotional materials, and post-event follow-ups • Provide on-site event management and support, addressing any issues that arise promptly and effectively • Conduct post-event evaluations to determine success and areas for improvement Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field. • Minimum of two years of experience in event planning and coordination, specifically with large-scale events.
