Event Coordinator

Responsibilities: - Plan and execute events, including weddings, corporate events, and other social gatherings, from conception to execution - Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and schedules - Coordinate with event vendors, including catering, hotels, and other service providers, to ensure all aspects of the event meet the required standards - Research and recommend event venues, catering options, and other vendors - Negotiate contracts with vendors and ensure all necessary documentation is complete - Coordinate with the hotel and catering teams to ensure seamless delivery of event services - Manage event logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and parking - Provide exceptional customer service to ensure attendees have an enjoyable experience - Monitor event progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure a successful outcome - Oversee event setup, teardown, and execution - Ensure all events are executed within budget and meet the required standards - Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors - Participate in market research to identify new trends and opportunities in the event planning industry - Experience in the hospitality or events industry, preferably in a restaurant setting - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to market and promote events to attract attendees - Experience with event planning software and tools - Knowledge of event catering and hotel operations - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Job Type: Full-time Ability to Commute: • Tulare, CA 93274 (Preferred)
