Event Coordinator
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

The Event Coordinator will work closely with the Event Manager to plan, promote, coordinate, and execute live events across Chronic Guru locations. This position plays an important role in developing event programming, coordinating entertainers and vendors, maintaining event calendars, supporting marketing efforts, and ensuring events are successfully executed from planning through completion.
You'll have the opportunity to work on weekly programming, special events, community partnerships, brand activations, and larger company initiatives while helping grow one of the fastest growing cannabis lifestyle brands.

Coordinate the planning and execution of weekly events, special events, and brand activations.Research and develop new event concepts, entertainment opportunities, and community programming.Coordinate with musicians, entertainers, instructors, vendors, and community partners.Manage communication with event partners from initial outreach through event completion.Coordinate event setup, breakdown, and onsite event operations.Attend events and help ensure programming is executed successfully.Maintain event calendars, project timelines, event details, and scheduling information.Create and update event listings across multiple platforms.Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure events are properly promoted.Assist with social media promotion before, during, and after events.Capture photos and videos during events for future marketing campaigns.Conduct regular outreach to entertainers, instructors, artists, vendors, local businesses, and potential community partners.Identify sponsorship opportunities, partnerships, festivals, and community events.Track event attendance, performance, and guest feedback.Maintain organized records of entertainers, vendors, pricing, contracts, and event information.Help organize event supplies, marketing materials, signage, and vendor information.Communicate event details with internal teams and location staff.Help ensure event information is accurate and communicated in advance.Support the Event Manager with department projects, special events, and company initiatives.Represent Chronic Guru professionally when working with guests, entertainers, vendors, businesses, and community partners.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, Event Management, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.Must be 21 years of age or older.Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, marketing, entertainment, customer service, or a related field preferred.Strong interest and understanding of event planning, hospitality, entertainment, marketing, and community engagement.Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.Ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, vendors, and projects simultaneously.Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.Comfortable communicating with entertainers, vendors, business owners, community partners, and internal leadership.Proficiency with social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.Creative mindset with the ability to research and develop new event concepts and programming.Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt when event plans change.Ability to work in a fast paced and growing environment.Comfortable working evenings and weekends during events.Reliable transportation preferred.Benefits:
