Event Coordinator and Manager

Join Cafe 422 Boardman as we continue to grow as Boardman’s leading restaurant and venue space! We're adding a full-time event coordinator to our team to manage dinner service, private parties, and our front-of-house staff. Cafe 422 is seeking someone with previous management experience and a love for hospitality.

Responsibilities

Assist the front-of-house manager with day-to-day responsibilities of running a restaurant, wine cellar, and event space.Help set up and execute private parties for up to 100 people.Supervise front and back-of-house staff to ensure service runs smoothly.Update events and reservation bookings.Manage front-of-house issues and address all employee/customer concerns.Experience

2-3 years of front-of-house manager, bartender, or fine-dining experience.Ability to utilize and navigate a POS system (Genius)Counting and managing registers and cashflow in and out.Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.Google docs, sheets, calendar, and gmail.Ability to navigate and work within Canva.Full-time Position Available

Pay: $20.00 per hour
