Event Coordinator - Lansing Center - Lansing, MI

Reporting to the Event Manager within the Sales & Services department, this salaried exempt position involves close collaboration with clients, service contractors, and internal operations personnel to ensure flawless event execution. The coordinator often supervises facility setups and acts as the primary liaison between clients and various facility departments to ensure smooth event execution. • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university • 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training • Or equivalent combination of education and experience • Working knowledge of facility management principles • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under pressure • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Availability to work on-site or remotely depending on event requirements
