Legends Global is a leader in the field of privately managed public assembly facilities, specializing in delivering exceptional venue management services. The available role is focused on managing, coordinating, planning, and executing all event-related needs for clients using Destination El Paso’s diverse venues. This position is comprehensive in scope and requires overseeing event staff scheduling, collaborating with safety officials such as police and fire departments, handling client or public complaints, investigating incidents, and sometimes serving as the manager on duty. Due to the dynamic nature of events hosted at Destination El Paso, the role entails working extended or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in hospitality, business, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience • one year professional experience in event coordination management and/or venue operations • customer service experience required • ability to work in an office environment • strong computer skills in MS Office • ability to operate standard office equipment • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • excellent organizational abilities • ability to work extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays • valid driver's license • effective interpersonal and communication skills • ability to handle stressful situations and exercise judgment • ability to work independently with minimal supervision
