This position coordinates events and meetings, and provides administrative support for a primary campus as assigned by the Senior Director of Staff Professional Development and Event Management. • Assists in the coordination of events and meetings for the assigned campus under the supervision of the Senior Director of Staff Professional Development and Event Management • Provides support in planning needs for events by hosting, booking caterers, submitting and completing work orders, making room reservations, creating and revising plans and layouts, communicating with Wake Tech Police Department, ITS, Media Productions, and Communications and housekeeping as necessary, posting information and signage, etc. • Communicates with internal and external clients, the general public, contractors, vendors, supervisors, peers, subordinates, providing accurate and appropriate information in writing, verbally or in person, respectively • Maintains a campus event calendar and communicates monthly schedules to appropriate departments • Adheres to event specific budgets, restrictions and invoice/receipt processing as outlined in the purchasing policies and guidelines Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to exhibit strong interpersonal skills and work well with others
