S/he will work closely with the Sales Team, external clients, internal clients, and vendors to ensure communication is consistent, event logistics are smooth, payments are on time, and clients are satisfied. In coordination with the Events Manager, the Events and Entertainment Manager is responsible for the supervision and professional development of Events Operations Associates. • Responsible for scheduling of Events Operations Associates to ensure that events are adequately staffed, that opportunities to work events are made available on an equitable basis, and that overtime and other scheduling considerations of staff working in second departments is appropriately coordinated. • Able to work outdoors. • Passion for participating in the creation of a world-class museum that is unrivaled in content and recognized for a truly outstanding guest experience.
