Event Operations Manager The Event Operations Manager is responsible for managing the operational aspects of events. Key responsibilities include: • Managing event requisitions, including wares, equipment, and deliverables; • Executing event delivery, including pack out, load out, set up, and strike; • Managing event service staff; • Maintaining accurate inventories of company-owned wares and equipment; • Scheduling routine cleaning and maintenance of the event venue. The Event Operations Manager must also develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to event operations, adhere to laws and regulations regarding safety and sanitation, and work collaboratively with other departments as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Verify, confirm, approve, and fulfill incoming event equipment, wares, vendor, staffing, deliverables, and transportation requisitions; • Direct event pack outs, load outs, set ups, strikes, and load ins for all events; • Develop and manage event timelines and deliverables schedules; • Serve as on- and off-site Event Service Lead for events as needed; • Facilitate facilities management, including building maintenance, cleaning, equipment and wares inventory, and vehicle outfitting and service; • Hire, train, schedule, and direct Front of House Events Service Staff, including Leads, Servers, Bartenders, Event Supports, and Porters; • Collaborate with Events Sales and Planner in event development, scheduling, vendor, and venue logistics; • Perform any other duties assigned by the manager.
