Event Manager - The Lake Club The Event Manager position is responsible for the Front of House (FOH) Operations for all banquet events. Essential Functions: • Work in collaboration with the Event and Sales Coordinators on all events • Responsible for all banquet FOH operations • Responsible for all banquet employee scheduling • Create daily assignments for staff scheduled in advance • Communicate regularly with Executive Chef and Banquet Chef the FOH staffing levels and their assigned positions, as well as status of timelines during the event and during dinner service • Establish set up schedule for each event and follow up to ensure completion • Execute assigned events, serve as Manager on Duty for event • Assign leads and staff to each event • Complete Cost Analysis forms post event before end of month • Create and deliver all staff evaluations with input from other members of management • Inventory and maintain par levels for uniforms and smallwares and report regularly to Director of Operations • Responsible for creating and implementing training program, including developing lead team members who would be responsible for their own small assigned teams and executing assigned events under the supervision of the Director of F&B or the Event Manager • Provide notes to sales staff as needed for the permanent file stored in Sales Office • Additional duties as assigned from COO and Director of Operations The Lake Club is a private club with numerous member amenities as well as a public catering facility set on the shores of the beautiful Lake Evans. Outdoor dining on the terrace or Halfway House with full bar and numerous televisions is enormously popular.
