Under general supervision from the Community Services Manager, the Community Events Manager manages the development of comprehensive strategies and approaches for community events and programs. This position provides leadership motivation, direction and support to staff, event committees, departments, and vendors... Manages the promotion of special events and event program that may include public relations, advertising, and coordination between Ak-Chin and business vendors. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, Community Operations Manager, the Community Council and the general public. Must have the ability to meet the physical requirements and exposure to various weather conditions for this position.
