Under the supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director of Facilities and Events the Event Manager position coordinates the planning and execution of high-quality athletic events, for the Oregon Athletic Department, that houses 18 nationally recognized intercollegiate athletic programs. This position will serve as the main point of contact for game operations and event management of all assigned events including but not limited to Soccer, Lacrosse, Baseball, and assist in all aspects of event management related to hosting football games and track and field meets. Major functions of this role include planning, organizing and coordinating the activities associated with event management services at department facilities. • Demonstrated ability to work with departments and outside parties in creating event plans. • Ability to communicate effectively.
