The role of Event Manager is a full-time, temporary position intended to support Spokane Sports through two major seasonal sporting events: Cross Country from September to November 2026, and Indoor Track & Field from December 2026 to March 2027. Reporting directly to the Director of Event Management, the Event Manager will play an essential role in orchestrating event planning, logistics, and execution, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. This position requires dynamic coordination and communication skills to manage volunteers, contractors, and event staff, all while maintaining adherence to the organizational values and striving for excellence in participant and partner satisfaction.

The Event Manager will act as the personnel coordinator for both cross country and indoor track and field events, overseeing staffing needs, volunteer management, transportation logistics, medical support scheduling, and official documentation.
