We’re now expanding our events program and looking for someone to help us plan, organize, and grow Motu’s community presence through consistent, well-executed events. About the Role: We’re looking for a part-time Event & Community Coordinator to take ownership of planning and running Motu events — from idea to execution. You’ll work directly with ownership to maintain a steady rhythm of events and keep our brand active, visible, and engaged in the local scene. What You’ll Do: • Plan and coordinate 2–4 monthly events (including setup, scheduling, and execution) • Create and maintain a 3–6 month event calendar • Handle ticketing, reservations, and guest inquiries (tickets/resi are mainly managed through our POS system) • Reach out to local businesses, organizations, and event promoters to find new opportunities • Oversee event promotion — scheduling posts, writing captions, coordinating emails (graphic design handled in-house) • Be on-site for events to ensure smooth flow and coordination • Track results and provide short post-event summaries (attendance, feedback, notes)
