Settled in the award-winning San Diego Convention Center, and under the general direction of the Director of Event Operations, this position manages and occasionally supervises the daily operations of the Cleaning Services and Event Set-up divisions including, but not limited to; safety and training programs, event support, operational efficiency, performance management and talent development in order to execute the department objectives • Works with Human Resources to ensure employees comply with all laws related to employees benefits, compensation, employment, and training. • Conducts training including but not limited to safety meetings, equipment training, compliance training, documenting necessary reports. The employee is occasionally required to stand and sit. This position is exposed to cleaning chemicals that are used in accordance with manufacturer’s labels, posted on the product.
