About us Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our team. As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing a wide range of events, ensuring that they run smoothly and meet the expectations of our clients. Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and execute various types of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, parties, and fundraisers - Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and preferences - Develop event concepts and themes that align with client's vision - Source and negotiate with vendors for event services, such as catering, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and decor - Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses are within the... allocated budget - Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, setup, and breakdown - Create detailed event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution - Oversee event registration processes and handle attendee inquiries - Provide on-site management during events to ensure everything runs according to plan - Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement Qualifications: - Proven experience in event planning or related field - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively - Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Upselling skills to promote additional services or upgrades to clients - Knowledge of catering and hospitality industry trends and best practices - Familiarity with marketing principles to effectively promote events - Proficient in using event management software or tools - Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and vendors - Strong attention to detail to ensure all aspects of an event are well-coordinated - Previous experience in restaurant or events management is a plus We offer competitive compensation based on experience. Pay: $18.27 - $20.10 per hour
