The candidate will work in collaboration with the Youth Services librarian and other senior library staff and will be responsible for all aspects of event planning to encourage lifelong library use for adults and teens (grades 5-12) as well as facilitating the promotion of all library services and activities throughout the community. This position may require working during any of the hours that the Library is open, including evenings and weekends. 1-3 years of experience planning and coordinating events including selecting on–site and zoom vendors, adhering to the given budget and ensuring client satisfaction for the scheduled event. MINIMUM FORMAL EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Recreation leadership, Communication, Public Relations, Hospitality or related field required.
