The Event Planner must be able to navigate not only the logistical requirements of event planning (and working with event vendors), but must also exhibit finesse and flexibility in working with our alumni (who are also our valued donor base) as well as current faculty, students and staff. • Knowledge of and/or ability to learn University policies and procedures relating to the use of University facilities, event management and presentation. Under California law, the University of California, Berkeley is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position.
