Event Planner and Catering Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and highly organized Event Planner and Catering Coordinator to manage and execute a diverse range of events for their clients, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role demands a proactive approach to coordinating all event logistics, from initial concept development and vendor selection to budget management and on-site (or delivered) execution oversight. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their vision is realized with seamless service and exceptional culinary experiences. Key Responsibilities

Plan, design, and execute a variety of events, ensuring all details align with client objectives and brand standards.Source and manage relationships with vendors, including caterers, venues, decorators, and entertainment providers.Develop and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability.Coordinate all catering aspects, including menu selection, dietary accommodations, and delivery/setup logistics for remote execution.Communicate effectively with clients throughout the planning process, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.Oversee on-site event execution (or delivery coordination for remote events), troubleshooting issues and ensuring a smooth experience.Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning and catering coordination, with a demonstrated ability to manage events remotely.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events concurrently.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in event management software and virtual collaboration tools.A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations.Benefits
