Event Planner Associate

The Perfect Day is a wedding planning and event production company based out of New Braunfels, TX but service all of the Texas hill country. We are looking to hire for a flex-time position for an event planner associate. The planner associate will be working hand in hand with the event planners and owner to prep for the events as well as implement events day of. An example of responsibilities includes but is not limited to: • Being on-site during events to assist with set-up, break-down, and overall event execution • Assist in coordination with vendors during events • Conduct client planning meetings • Creation of timelines and layouts • Prep work during the week • Other office duties as assigned Requirements for the position: • Extremely detail-oriented and very well organized • Show professionalism in and out of work • Must be available on Fridays and Saturdays as well as additional days during the week • Have reliable transportation available for travel to events on site as well as our office in New Braunfels TX • Ability to communicate effectively and quickly both in written and verbal formats • Own, or have access to, a computer • Quick and joyful learner • Ability to problem solve quickly on the spot in a professional manner • Enjoys sharing ideas and working with a team in a collaborative environment
