Good Works Hub is seeking a Volunteer Event Planner / Community Events Coordinator to support the planning and execution of mission-driven events. This role is open to entry-level candidates and career-changers who are eager to gain real-world experience in event planning, community engagement, and nonprofit operations. Support planning and coordination of in-person and hybrid events Help create event timelines, checklists, and run-of-show documents Assist with venue coordination, vendors, permits, supplies, and catering Help track basic budgets and expenses Community & Partner Coordination Strong interest in event planning and community engagement Good communication and organizational skills Willingness to learn and take initiative Ability to commit to scheduled planning meetings and event days Nice to Have (Not Required) Hands-on experience planning real community events Mentorship from experienced organizers and partners A stipend Resume-building experience and professional references Opportunities to grow into a paid or leadership role as Good Works Hub expands How to Apply
