As the sole in-house Event Planner, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Museum events, including fundraising galas, donor receptions, exhibition openings, member events, board meetings, and other special events throughout the year, as well as providing premium event planning services for third-party event rentals. Event Planning & Execution: • Plan, coordinate, and execute Museum events, including fundraising galas, donor receptions, exhibition openings, member events, board meetings, all-staff events, and other internal special events, including events that may take place in other markets, such as New York City. • Work with the Museum's Security and Facilities teams to implement safety and emergency plans for all events. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
