Event Planner Intermediate

As an integral part of our team, you will collaborate with various internal departments, manage all facets of events, and offer strategic input on event development. Responsibilities: - Develop detailed project plans and budgets for events, overseeing their execution from concept to completion - Coordinate with internal departments such as Food Services, Audio Visual, Security, and Facilities - Handle all aspects of event management, including site selection, vendor negotiation, logistics coordination, menu planning, decor, audio-visual, and travel arrangements - Lead teams working on events, managing multiple facets simultaneously - Provide high-quality customer service, meeting and greeting clients daily, answering calls, and managing emails - Support C-suite executive meetings with detail-oriented, organized, and effective communication - Manage the reception desk functions, including greeting and escorting clients to rooms - Utilize the Event Management System (EMS) for detailing reservations, reviewing incoming requests, and presenting reports - Manage correspondence between the planning team and reservation holders, ensuring timely updates and excellent customer service - Have a firm understanding of business guidelines for space allocation and manage any space issues that arise Requirements - Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service - Strong skills in Management and leadership - Experience with Data Entry tasks - Proficiency in Planning and organizing events - Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls - Knowledge of Budget Processes and financial planning - Skills in Review and evaluation processes - Proficiency in the use of About Time software - Experience in Logistics and supply chain management - Ability to perform Receptionist Duties as needed - Understanding of Security protocols in event planning - Experience in Consulting and advising clients - Ability to manage Websites and online platforms - Strong skills in Correspondence and written communication - Experience in Facility management and coordination - Willingness to Travel for event planning purposes - Skills in Graphic Design and visual communication - Experience with Printing and production processes - Proficiency in Reservation and booking systems - Experience in Catering management and coordination - Strong skills in Coordination and project management - Ability to work with Business Partners and stakeholders - Experience in Project Planning and implementation - Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written - Understanding of Contract Administration and legal agreements Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
