Event Planning Assistant The Event Planning Assistant will assist in planning and executing events across California, including the Southern Area Events. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable event planning experience and develop key event skills. Duties: • Coordinate event logistics, outreach efforts, and volunteer engagement • Support marketing and communications strategies, including email and social media content creation • Manage outreach for in-kind donations of gift cards and experiences Qualifications: • Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher • Able to commit to a flexible work schedule of 20 hours per week during standard business hours • Superior organizational and communication skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to take initiative • Excellent customer service skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and social media platforms Key Responsibilities: • Assist with event planning, execution, and evaluation • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events • Build relationships with donors and volunteers Benefits: • Gain valuable event planning experience • Develop key event skills and industry knowledge • Opportunity to build professional network and relationships
