An AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) is a national service member who works with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, schools, and faith-based organizations to help fight poverty and build organizational capacity. The Event Planning Coordinator VISTA will support BRACE in building capacity to deliver high-impact community events that promote disaster preparedness, volunteer engagement, and public awareness. This role focuses on developing sustainable systems, processes, and partnerships that enhance the organization’s ability to plan and execute events effectively, with an emphasis on serving underserved and high-risk populations.
