Event Planning Intern

Start Strong, an internationally recognized youth violence prevention program at the Boston Public Health Commission, is seeking an Event Support Coordinator to help plan and execute our annual Break Up Summit: a dynamic, youth-led event that brings together over 200 young people and 50 providers for a day of creativity, learning, and connection focused on healthy breakups and relationships. The coordinator will work closely with Start Strong staff to manage event logistics, facilitate planning meetings, coordinate vendors and supplies, and ensure all details run smoothly from concept to completion. Event Planning & Coordination: In partnership with marketing, draft event materials including Save the Date, press release, registration forms, and participant communications.
