About the Position This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your Key Responsibilities • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including conferences, seminars, and receptions* Coordinate event logistics, such as catering, audio-visual, and transportation* Manage event budgets and track expenses* Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers* Assist in the creation of event promotional materials and communications* Provide excellent customer service and ensure seamless event execution* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve event goals and objectives* Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of University Advancement Events* Maintain accurate records and reports as required A minimum of two years of experience in event planning, administration, or a related field is required.
