Event Production Coordinator

Breakwater Hospitality is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Event Production Coordinator to support our in-house production and operations teams across South Florida venues and offsite events. This is a hands-on coordination role focused on assisting with event setups and breakdowns, coordinating labor and schedules, managing production inventory, and tracking décor and material logistics. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, bilingual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment. Key Responsibilities • Support production team with event setups and breakdowns (install/strike) • Coordinate labor scheduling for setup, strike, and offsite events • Assist operations teams with offsite event setups and breakdowns • Manage and track inventory of production props, décor, signage, and materials • Maintain organization of production storage areas • Follow up on order logistics for event décor and materials (deliveries, pickups, returns) • Assist with weekly audits of production inventory and equipment • Communicate timelines and needs with internal teams and vendors • Ensure safe work practices are followed during setups and breakdowns • Perform additional production and operational support tasks as assigned Required Qualifications (NON-NEGOTIABLE) • Bilingual (English / Spanish) — REQUIRED • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. — REQUIRED • Basic computer proficiency — REQUIRED (email, spreadsheets, scheduling tools) • Must live in South Florida • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including outdoor and extreme weather conditions • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
