Event Production Coordinator

Event Production Coordinator Location: Portland, OR Metro Area (Onsite at Various Event Locations) Duration: 6-Month Contract Hours: 25-30 hours per week (Including evenings and weekends) Pay: $22 - $25 per hour This is not a desk-based role-this position requires someone comfortable being in the field, contributing to the full setup and breakdown of events such as festivals, street fairs, concerts, and community gatherings. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of events at various locations throughout the Portland metro areaTransport and organize event materials, equipment, and suppliesSet up tents, tables, signage, and other production elementsLoad and unload trucks, including lifting and moving equipment and materialsDrive large vehicles (e.g., vans or small trucks) between sites as neededWork closely with production teams to ensure smooth event operationsMaintain organization and inventory of event equipmentSupport day-of logistics and troubleshoot issues as they ariseEnsure a safe, clean, and professional event environmentQualificationsPrevious experience in event production, festivals, concerts, street fairs, or similar environments strongly preferredCandidates with restaurant, hospitality, or other high-volume, fast-paced experience are encouraged to applyComfortable performing physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periodsAbility to lift and move equipment (typically up to 50 lbs)Valid driver's license and ability to drive larger vehicles preferredReliable transportation to various event sites throughout the Portland areaStrong work ethic with a willingness to take on "hands-on" and physically demanding workFlexible and dependable, with availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekendsWhat We're Looking ForTeam players who enjoy being active and working behind the scenesIndividuals who take pride in helping execute high-quality eventsPeople who are adaptable, proactive, and willing to jump in wherever neededCandidates who are comfortable with the gritty side of event production-not just coordination, but hands-on executionWhy This Role This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the field, working on a variety of exciting events, and contributing to experiences that bring the community together.
