The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all technical elements of live, hybrid, and virtual events - from planning through execution. This role serves as the bridge between creative vision and flawless technical delivery, ensuring every production element aligns with the event’s goals, timeline, and budget. • Collaborate with the Logistics Team and clients during pre-production to define technical requirements, formats, and show flow, while also participating in client calls to contribute to creative direction and sales - including content creation oversight and stage design as well as assess technical needs such as equipment and staffing for live staffing for live shows • Sourcing and comparing vendor partners, proposing stage sets, negotiating contracts, loading-in/out of technology and equipment (as needed), calling shows and producing conferences and event programs. Requirements: • Submission of cover letter including the following information: • Why you enjoy and want to work in events and production • 1-3 bucket list destinations you want to visit and why • Describe a way you live your full, bright life outside of work (see below core value) • Something unique about you • 7+ years in live event technical production, including experience with large-scale specs • Must be highly adaptable and prepared to take on a range of responsibilities as we grow the production team • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and meticulously plan/implement multiple programs at once • Deep knowledge of AV, lighting, staging, and broadcast/streaming technologies • Comfortable reading and creating production documents, floorplans, and technical specs • Proven leadership managing crews and third-party vendors • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Calm under pressure, solution-focused, and a team player • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours based on event schedules • Understanding of contracts and legal terms • Acute attention to detail; admirable written, analytical and interpersonal communication skills • Strong computer skills with hands-on knowledge of Google (Sheets, Docs, Gmail) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Viper, NetSuite and ClickUp experience beneficial but not required • Experience with CAD or Vectorworks is preferred • Familiarity with production management software (e.g., Shoflo, Basecamp, Monday.com) is preferred • Background in either technical direction or stage management is a plus • Service-oriented, professional and friendly demeanor; steadfast resolve and personal integrity • Embodiment of our Core Values: • Powered by People: We build relationships to give meaning and richness to our lives and work.
