The Sales & Events Manager is responsible for generating and converting event sales while managing the full lifecycle of private dining and group events. This role blends strategic sales, client relationship management, and detailed event planning, serving as the primary point of contact from initial inquiry through execution.

What You’ll Do
Manage Administrative & Financial Processes
Maintain accurate records in CRM/event systemsCoordinate invoicing, deposits, and post-event billing with accountingTrack event performance and support reporting effortsDrive Sales & Revenue Growth
Generate, qualify, and convert leads for private dining, group events, and full restaurant buyoutsAchieve and exceed annual revenue targetsExecute strategic sales plans and proactive outreach initiativesBuild relationships with corporate clients, concierges, DMCs, wedding planners, and local partnersIdentify upsell opportunities and cultivate repeat businessLead Event Planning & Client Experience
Serve as the main point of contact from inquiry through event executionCreate proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)Guide clients through menu selection, logistics, and event designCoordinate with culinary, beverage, and operations teams to ensure seamless planningManage all event details including timelines, floorplans, and vendor coordinationSupport Event Execution
Provide onsite support for large-scale events and restaurant buyouts as neededPartner with service teams to ensure flawless executionAct as a professional, solutions-oriented presence for clients during eventsCollaborate Across Teams
Work closely with culinary and beverage teams on event offeringsAlign with operations on staffing and execution needsParticipate in BEO and planning meetings to ensure cross-functional readinessRepresent the Brand
Act as a brand ambassador at networking events and industry functionsPartner with marketing on outreach and promotional initiativesUphold Wolfgang Puck’s standards of excellence in every interaction
What We’re Looking For
Experience
3–5+ years in event sales, catering sales, or luxury hospitality salesProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goalsExperience managing full-cycle event planning and client relationshipsSkills
Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building abilitiesExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneouslyProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft OfficeCollaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindsetWork Environment & Schedule
Onsite, Monday–FridayFlexibility required for client meetings, networking events, and occasional evenings/weekends and some holidaysHands-on involvement in event execution as needed
