Event set up & take down

Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals for the position of Event Set Up & Take Down. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing venues for events by setting up and dismantling equipment, climb ladders, and decorations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Set up event spaces according to specifications, including arranging decorations.
Dismantle and pack up all event materials after the conclusion of events.
Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and report any issues to management.
Collaborate with event coordinators to understand layout and setup requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas for equipment and supplies.
Assist with loading and unloading vehicles as needed.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment during setup and takedown.

Requirements

Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Previous experience in event setup or similar roles is preferred but not required.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed based on event schedules.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
